Today's storm caused me to take an unexpected day off after my car skidded into a snow plow coming out of my driveway. The trains may have been running but I didn't feel much like going down the hill to the station and risk skidding into the LIRR. So I took a nice walk down to the beach. The water is at super high tide and it seems very murky and stirred up, not its usual sparkling self. I tasted the snow (couldn't resist!) and it is very yummy.
